 BRCA 5K Race for the Lakes
The Belgrade Regional Conservation Alliance’s 2nd annual 5K Race for the Lakes is an official, timed race on a safe, rolling, out and back course on Point Road in Belgrade, Saturday, September 5th, at 8 am. 5K registration fee: $15 pre-registered by 8/28/09 includes race shirt or $18 with no shirt. Registration begins at 6:30 am. 5K Award Ceremony to follow with awards for Overall Men and Women, 1st, 2nd and 3rd; and Mens and Womens in (6) age groups each, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
The funds raised will support Milfoil Prevention and create a Watershed-wide Action Plan (WAP) to improve water quality and public enjoyment of the seven Belgrade lakes for all who live, work, visit, and play in the thirteen towns of the Belgrade Watershed.
